"Not safe, 10/10 do not recommend. The houses look nice on inside but once it’s sold the landlords could care less about pipes busting, basements over flooding, raccoons in the attic….etc"
- Floyd Calvin Johnson Jr
- Resident
- 3mo ago
"That all depends on time of day month and year you have to really pick your battles with the calendar but what I can say is that it’s gotten a lot better "

"The people in the area are friendly but the neighborhood has gotten worse over the years. The crime rate has gone up. My vehicle was stolen in the Yorkship square while the police were parked right next to me."
- Laura G.

"That it’s an very urban busy area long as you stay to yourself you shouldn’t have any issues it’s not where you live it’s how you live also it’s not many activities for children no parks and nothing to really involve kids with positive outings or activity "
- Nobles.shakila
- Resident

"there are not a lot of fencing and some of the houses are townhouses, cars speed down the streets so it wouldn't be possible to let your dog out with out watching them or having them chained up."

"It’s an ok neighborhood just too much drug dealing and crimes going on just wish it was a better place for kids"
- Kmarsh231

"Nothing it’s just somewhere where the crime rate is high and kids or nothing is safe the question should be how can people make the neighborhood safe"
- Ladyqurrn71
- Resident

"Not what it use to be. Street does not get clean and the city worker do not always come out on time to cut the neighborhood Grass"

"I bought a home in this area nearly a decade ago when i helped to open a school. I have lived here for 4 years. The beautiful historic brick homes is something I love. My neighbors are respectful and it is fairly safe. "
