Boron is home to the U.S. Borax Boron Mine, California's largest open-pit mine, which is also the largest borax mine in the world. Boron is on the border of Kern and San Bernardino Counties along State Route 58. Boron is 65 miles (105 km) north of Palmdale, 85 miles (137 km) east of Bakersfield, and 40 miles (64 km) west of Barstow in the Antelope Valley region of California's Mojave Desert.
This is a cute, and very LITTLE HOUSE with one bedroom plus a very small second area/ alcove. It's perfectly situated hidden behind a pet groomer and retail shop and across from a grocery store and bank. You can walk to so much including the senior center, restaurants, stores, museum, clubs, gym, park, schools and houses of worship and more. Boron is a cute little town of about 2,500 people with murals and points of interest like a giant dump truck or huge tire or a painted scene of burros and cart coming from the mine shaft (see pictures).
Our little middle house has had repair/upgrades making almost all new water lines and a few more improvements. It has easy to clean tile floors and a ceiling fan. Great parking right by your door. It even has laundry hookups for your washer and dryer. A dryer included as is.
This is a quiet area, with quiet neighbors, except for a train that runs behind the property, which people say you get used to. This is a single level older property with easy entry, but small doorways and a very small shower. There is no yard. Well behaved pets may be allowed on a case by case basis. No smoking.
Tenant pays their own water, trash, electric, gas, and any internet, phone or TV service they want.
Rent is discounted to $700/mo if paid in full before it is due with no previous outstanding balance.
Regular rent is $750/mo.
Security is $1,400.
