"We do get some thru traffic but for the most part it’s a quiet street. I never worry about my safety in my neighborhood."

"Every year there is a big Christmas, Veterans Day, Saint Patty’s Day parade. Also, every year there is a town day called Founders Day where everyone gets together and supports local businesses."

"It’s safe but like any neighborhood these days, keep your eye out. There are sketchy people in every neighborhood. Also, the school system is trash here so if you have middle school high school aged children look elsewhere."

"Nothing much special. The town has changed since I was young. No one comes out to talk anymore. People moving in have escaped cities, but have not embraced small town living. Every house has floodlights to ward off strangers.."

"There are no community events. Saugus should focus on local events, instead of more housing and retail. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 6 years and each year I see it becoming more and more family oriented. I have raised my four children here 2 that are now in high school who have gone through middle school and grade school in this town. And two that are now about to start school. we go to so many Town activities and my kids look forward to every event. they have amazing things for all ages and make every family feel like if they belong here. I feel extremely safe and happy in this community."
