1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been dealing with Madison Schools for well over a MONTH trying to obtain my child's information. My child resides with their other parent, which is a substantial amount of distance from me. BUT unless I come in and provide them with information they ALREADY have, I will not be able to recieve information and be involved in my child's education. The school district likes to state that this is a "policy, procedure, or practice" but when asked to see where this is documented, I have gotten NOTHING in return. The Superintendent and Principal should be ashamed of the hoops they are making someone jump through to be an involved parent. I totally understand WHY your district has the ratings it does. And I am sad to know my child attends such a district that has handeled this matter so poorly.Other Review7y ago - Madison High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHi, former student here. I will say there are very few educators that care. The rest are there strictly for a paycheck. The school lacks in every department; academics, sports, extra curricular’s don’t exist, and social events. Not to mention the bomb threats and lock downs we had weekly/monthly. Because my family struggled financially, I was obligated to attend the district so I made the best out of it. After graduation, I attended Oakland university and truly struggled. Thank God for tutors and passionate educators at the university. That’s the only way I grasped the material, no thanks to the sinking ship in Madison heights. If you care about your child, don’t send them to Madison district.Parent Review1y ago - Wilkinson Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son goes to grade 3 and he is doing good with his math reading arts science, robotics, computers and in his sports activities too, it is very good school and all staffs are very helpful in kids overall development. I recommend this to all parents and kids, I am sure the way the school progressing it will beat all schools in the district n nearby districts. It should be given more than 8/10 rating over all.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 26512 Lenox Ave #2.

"There are always people walking dogs all around the neighborhood. If you're a fan of dogs there is always a dog or two nearby to pet. That being said, if you have an anxious or reactive dog, your pet might not like the area because there are so many dogs around including lots of houses that leave their dogs out in the yard for most of the day. "There's a dog park nearby that dog owners might like to check out. What I don't like about the other dog owners is that they don't always clean up after their dog. I don't mind picking up after my dog but I don't care to clean up after someone else's dog. "
