3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average“Vacant” that’s what was listed under my math teachers name it wasn’t until I showed up to the classroom that I was notified that vacant means “position not filled” they had the ISS instructor teach us for a few months & then they cramped all of us into a classroom of 40 plus students with a real math teacher. I had a total of 20 unexcused absences & I was still promoted to high school they just passed me along. Now that I am a parent I’ve worked hard to move out of that ZIP Code to give my child a better chance at an education she goes to a school where teachers have masters degrees, 10yrs+ experience teaching.Other Review3y ago - Hickory Grove Elementary

They have been very supportive and creative when it comes to helping my autistic son learn the material. "This area has great potential, if every renter and homeowner took pride in their property. Currently, I see yards with trash and several cars that do not work and furniture setting outside of the homes. This lack of concern reduces the likelihood of attracting good things to the neighborhood. Very shabby in some places and ok in others around this community."

"This is a great neighborhood to live and raise a family!! Quiet with only three streets so traffic is minimal! All the neighbor are nice and watch out for other. It s close to everything you need but not to close! "

"My family and I moved to this neighborhood six months ago and we are delighted that we did. We feel very safe here. It's quiet and clean with mature trees adding to the comfort level. the neighbors are friendly and interactive. Children are free to play safely due to the cul-de-sac and the neighborhood watch. I particularly love the front porch atmosphere, allowing me to sit comfortably in the shade provided by numerous mature trees. It's not an expensive neighborhood but it sure provides the luxury of one. Friendly, quiet and clean is Hickory Ridge."
