6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s a shame that the school has teachers and staff who take their personal frustrations out on children. My daughter upon many occasions was bullied in this school and things were left unsolved and the individuals were not disciplined, even when a young man lifted up her clothing to expose her. There are teachers there that feel like it’s appropriate to enforce their ideologies of what parenting in their eyes should look like. If you have an issue with a teacher the tactic to address the issue with the teacher is to attack the parent instead and never resolve or address the issue at hand. If I can give this school a 0 rating I would. There are some really great teachers and staff there who if could be rated separately I would. But as whole if you want to emotionally damage your child and have people disrespect you as a parent please look no further this is the place.Parent Review2y ago - Lincoln High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I felt that a few of the staff treated the students unfairly and they played favorites when it came to students. Also I felt that some of the staff was unprofessional in working with parents as well as their colleagues. I would not recommend this school to any parent.Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 259 Pacific Ave.

"respect towards the neighbors, that there is cleanliness, and above all camaraderie. And one very important thing is that public transport is close, that there are pharmacies, supermarkets and, above all, security throughout the area."

"I live in the neighborhood and it has great access to transportation. Liberty State Park and the Science Center is steps away. There are several other parks and a community pool to cool off in the summer. Local parks have summer programs like movies, live music, etc. We have lived here for over 5 years and never had a package stolen or witnessed any crime. It is very safe at night. Many people walk their dogs in the evening and they do clean up after them. There is lots of new construction that will increase everyone's property values. The city is also updating all the sewers to help mitigate street flooding and replacing waterlines. "

"I've lived in Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood for 5 years. I have never had a package stolen and feel safe walking at night. Neighbors are friendly. There is always parking available on the street. Many beautiful parks for kids and also many cultural activities especially in the summer. Lots of new construction is great for our property values and new young professionals make for a great environment. Many amazing shops and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Liberty State Park, Light Rail, Jersey Medical Center and supermarket. The city has also been modernizing the sewer system by separating the storm sewer from the sanitary sewer and increasing capacity."
