3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has gone down hill this year compared to other years. Suspension rates of kids with disabilities and behavioral issues are at a high. Teachers using corporal punishment like making children stand in class. They give zero support for kids with disabilities. They would rather give ISS or suspension than doing their job. With the change of principles also came inexperienced grade principles. Corporal punishment is a thing at this school. Students allowed to kick in at all doors of other students is allowed. Students who know their future involves college are eligible to take college campuses at (choose Kent, not Akron) by junior year, possibly even earlier? "It is a quiet friendly place to live. I haven't lived here long enough to know of any events. I do know that this is a family oriented neighborhood. Many neighbors decorate for Christmas and have bbq's in the spring, summer, and early fall."
