4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school revamped a few years ago, and I've been impressed as a parent of a current student and alumni. I've had 4 kids go to North, and they all had great experiences. My last 2 children took all Honors classes, which allowed them to test well to get into the Hardin County Academy, a dual credit program that lets them graduate with a high school diploma as well as an Associates degree from ECTC. The teachers really care about the students and their knowledge and ability in the subjects. Currently my daughter has been taking Engineering classes, which are both advanced yet fun and stimulating. The teachers really work with the students as long as the students show initiative in improving.The diversity of North Hardin has long been it's strong suit. Located in Radcliff, KY, it sits right outside of the Fort Knox's gates. We have the diversity of a big city but with a small town feel.I am an alumni of NHHS, and it was the same when I attended. there are plenty of clubs to join, sports to participate in outside of the academics. Its quite a large HS for the state with roughly 1,600 students, or 400 students per grade. Depending on class selection, North prepares students for college or trade depending. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorse elementary school in the country. Vaping problem. Kids keep getting in to fights,then other kids are punished. Pulling, nothing is blbeing done about it. Trouble kids are not punished in anyway. One class haven't had a teach all year. Subs after bad subs. They work well to keep her learning on track and pushing her to work to her highest capability all while keeping it fun! She loves her teachers and has a great new experience everyday! "Great location for all ages, very few rentals in area. Large homesites with well maintained homes and gardens/yards. Poultry is allowed which is great for fresh eggs. Love this neighborhood and friendly neighborhood."

"Radcliff is an area that is solely for living. There are no real community events, nor is there a sense of belonging here. It seems to be a place where people live temporarily due to its location to Fort Knox."

"Parts of Radcliff are nice but I would definitely research the area and educate myself about the cost of living and quality of life in each neighborhood that you’re interested in because there are some places that even if you’re a good quiet neighbor you still have high crime and could become a victim to the crime there"

"Drugs being sold in our neighborhood. People just throw out their old furniture and trash in the yard and that’s where it stays. The neighbors across the street are selling drugs. "

"It’s okay. Not great, but not bad. It’s definitely better than Elizabethtown. My favorite thing is that the police are very responsive—unlike Etown. Anytime we’ve needed police help, for example, to report a dog in a locked car, they’ve been very quick to help. We used to live in Etown, which is certainly more of a closed-minded area."
