Stuart/Port Salerno is also a stones throw away from awesome beaches as well as larger cities with abundant nightlife. "

    "I’ve lived here in Stuart for my whole life. It’s a fairly small city, but it seems to be experiencing a lot of growth here these past few years. The downtown area is beautiful and carries historic significance, although it can be quite busy on the evenings and weekends. The one downside is that there’s not a ton to do here besides beach it up or go out to eat (there is a good variety of restaurants). If you decide to make this your home, just be warned there will literally always be construction happening on Kanner Highway haha. It’s been going on since I was a kid. Overall Stuart is a city but with a small town homey feel, nice restaurants, pretty riverside scenery, a decent fishing scene, and only 15 minutes from the beach. A great place to retire, or raise young kids, but maybe not the absolute best for single millennials seeking career jobs with opportunity for growth. There’s not much here except service industry jobs. "
