4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately my experience has been really bad. Chief Sealth could be so good. They have amazing programs, a beautiful campus and a community rich in diversity. The principal does nothing to bring out the best of people. Most of her staff is just waiting for her to "retire or leave so she can take care of her family" I refuse to be part of a community that is only waiting for its leader to go away. No IB program, dual immersion pathway, mariachi band, academy of finance is enough for my family to stay. "I live here and find this area extremely convenient. I love having parks nearby. And a dog park. This area is close to West Wood Village, less then 10 minutes from the West Seattle Junction, 10 from Burien, 10 from Beacon Hill....I feel that it is in the middle of everywhere that I need to go. There are many families that live here and a strong sense of community. "
