Description

Todd and Ann's main house and guest apartment were built in 2022, and we are excited to welcome guests to our waterfront property. The apartment is detached from the main house (except for a walkway deck connecting the two on the second floor) and has its own dedicated furnace and central air conditioner. The apartment is fully furnished, and all utilities are included in the monthly rent. Guests will enjoy partial Lake Mendota views from the guest apartment and will have access to Lake Mendota and our kayaks and paddle boards for no charge. A Nature Conservancy is also located directly across the street from the guest apartment.

There are numerous amenities within walking distance of the apartment including restaurants, bars, a gym, public transportation, Marshall Park, coffee shops, and Lakeview Park. The UW-campus and a variety of Madison amenities are only a short drive.

The apartment is located on a quiet, family friendly dead-end road in Middleton. All apartment residents need to conform to the quiet, family friendly residential nature of the Middleton Beach Road community. Any activities or behaviors that are not typical of a family friendly residential neighborhood such as excessive noise or parties are not allowed.

The apartment is 1,095 square feet with two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with a king bed), one full bathroom, a full kitchen, quartz countertops, a high efficiency washer and dryer, deck, dining, and living rooms. Both bedrooms have a dedicated working space, and one bedroom has a stand-up desk, printer, and TV. The apartment also has free high speed wi-fi and free Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount, and Amazon Prime streaming services on the 55" smart TV in the living room and 32" smart TV in the bedroom.
.
The apartment is located above our heated garage and guests will have dedicated, private parking in the heated garage for one vehicle and parking for one additional vehicle in the driveway. Guests will have private storage (shelves and closets) in the garage area, access to a garage 1/2 bathroom, and a private walk-in storage closet in the garage area. Guests can access the apartment through the single car garage door or the main apartment access door with a smart keypad lock. There is a paver walkway that extends from the driveway to the main apartment access door.

Apartment rental includes stainless steel appliances, furniture, beds, bedding, towels, cleaning materials, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, plates, bowls, pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, silverware, glassware, coffee mugs, toaster, air fryer, coffee makers, blender, and starter bathroom and kitchen essentials such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and tea. Responsible pets are also welcome. Pets are allowed for no additional charge.

The apartment can accommodate a maximum of four people (no more than one family) and two vehicles. It is ideal for one family, traveling professionals, etc. A minimum six-month rental agreement is preferred, but a shorter rental period (not less than one month) may be considered.

We recently had new renters occupy the apartment, and we would like to give them some time to settle in. Therefore, we are not doing any apartment showings until May.
