7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student here I have seen everything first hand. The teachers are ok, but some can be rude sometimes. Lots of them grade really hard and don't help you understand how to do it, like if you tell them you can't find something online to their face they would just say, "email me" and sometimes not even respond. Overall, the school looks pretty trashy. The portables have peeling paint and look run down, they don't try hard to cover up the graffiti on the walls and you can still see it. It doesn't look good and is not very good. Also, the school is running out of money fast and isn't doing anything to fix it. At least not smartly. Other schools in the district are going on field trips, sometimes even to different countries. They seem to have more money than us, but do they really? What our school wants to do is cut sports and equipment. If they cut school sports, some kids wont be able to play sports at all because they can't afford out of school sports. My parents schools had far less money than ours when they were kids, but they still had everything that normal public schools have. Racism is a big part of this school. I see kids being picked on or laughed at and sometimes beat up if they are different. That brings me to fights, its not an uncommon sight to see. The school will just suspend the kids who fought for 3 days then no punishments after that whatsoever. I wish I went to a different school.Student Review1mo ago - Kokanee Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat teachers and fun activities and curriculum for the young ones! If your child goes to this school, you are privileged- also they are in elementary school. Half of what they are learning is social skills. Too much emphasis on test scores thanks to the superintendent, (not the teachers!)…Other Review2y ago - North Creek High School

"I have lived in Bothell for 18 years. It’s a nice place to live. Most people are friendly, very family oriented neighborhoods. My only complaint is that there is an excessive amount of speeding on a main road right next to my house & I have contacted the Bothell police NUMEROUS times over the years and they do Nothing about it. I fear it will take a fatal accident before they take action. Kirkland police seem to take traffic issues more seriously. "
