"Yards are bigger than normal and everyone has fences. There are some people that don’t pick up their dog’s poop and it’s rude."

"I work downtown, but my house is really close to dodge st. so the commute isn't too bad. I have stores and gas stations within 10 mins of my home. And I go to the gym and the school in Elkhorn."

"Keep an eye out for children.!There’s often children that play/run/bike ride into the street w/o looking. We, (our adult children/Husband & I), have often had to stop the car in these situations. Sad to say, but there’s rarely an adult outside to watch them. Drivers—slow down for kids & Adults—keep track of your children. Its the best way to be safe!"

"People don’t leash their dogs and the complexes don’t care to enforce. Good luck dealing with a dog bite. Also, no one picks up after their dogs. Beautiful area for long walks but poorly kept. "

"Miles and miles of beautiful bridal path trails connect this very special, one of a kind neighborhood in West Omaha. Many homes feature horse barns with horses on the property, or simply enjoy the pleasure of having larger than normal yards in this beautiful neighborhood. Outstanding Elkhorn Schools and moments to all conveniences. 12 minutes to 132nd and West Dodge Expressway, but feels miles from ordinary!"

"Ranchview Estates is a combination of young families, business owners, professionals & retirees. The whole edition as a rural, park like feel, with large homes on large lots, but still close to shopping and night life in West Omaha. The neighbors are fantastic about keeping up their homes and yards and many walk in the evening, during the summer. All schools are Elkhorn and are very close. Skyline Elementary is less than a mile away, new Elkhorn West Middle Scholl is only 1/4 mile away and new Elkhorn South High School is about 1 and 1/2 miles. Plenty of goods and services are available on West Center Street about 4 miles, with grocery & fuel within wone & two miles respectively. The edition has not bee annexed by the City of Omaha, so it lies in Douglas County about one mile East of the Elk River."

"Whitehawk is a beautiful neighborhood with an abundance of walking trails, baseball & soccer fields, wildlife and has a wonderful stocked lake. Minutes away from lots of shopping, restaurants, nightclubs, health clubs & schools and located just off of Hwy 31 and West Center Rd, the location can't get much better!"
