Description

Available 1/27/25 to 4/30/25 for 15,000.00 a month with one month minimum and start and end date on or near the end of the month.

Beautiful, spacious Palm Springs home with pool and spa and very private yard is in upscale Canyon Country Club in South Palm Springs near the Smoke Tree Shopping Center.

Renovation completed in January of 2024! Request a link to our other sites to read our five star reviews.

Spectacular, airy, immaculate house in South Palm Springs is powered by the sun and has conventional back up. Solar panels are discreetly placed and invisible from the front or back. At 3500 square feet, you won't lack for room in this comfortable, beautiful and sunny home. House is newly renovated and gorgeously furnished, with original art, a three car garage and a heated pool and spa. We are very near to the Indian Canyons Golf Resort which is open to the public. Charge your Tesla or other electric car in our garage with our 40 amp charger.

Area is far to the south in non-windy Palm Springs, in the prestigious Canyon Country Club neighborhood which receives full sun and has the best views of the San Jacinto mountains from its million dollar plus homes. Have no fear of golf balls or golf carts as we are off the fairway. We are not in the shadows of the foothills area for longer, warmer sun time in winter.

The backyard has a shade porch and a 33 foot pool with an attached spa. A six foot wall and neighbors' hedge provides privacy for backyard living. Grab some fruit from our citrus trees to squeeze your morning juice and use the outdoor shower. Outdoor dining furniture seats eight. Pool area has two single loungers, one double lounger and an outdoor fridge/wet bar and two sitting areas.

All rooms in this house are spacious and sunny with travertine tiles or carpeting and amazing, original paintings throughout. Living room has soaring cathedral ceiling and views of the pool and mountains. The master bathroom is the size of a Manhattan apartment and has a pedestal tub and a separate shower. Master bedroom has two enormous walk-in closets, each the size of a bedroom.

T.V. den is cool and cozy with shelves full of books and a 50 inch HD television with DVD player, Spectrum cable and equipped with Roku for access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped with island counter, gourmet cookware and state of the art appliances as well as a television. Next to it is a sunny breakfast room for reading the paper as well as an outdoor breakfast nook in the shade. Cabinets have crystal and wine glasses and three different sets of china.

Flat screen televisions with cable are in all bedrooms. Long distance calling is free and WiFi is provided for your laptop. Printer available.

Solar powered air conditioning keeps this place cool in the hot months.

Small to medium dogs are welcome that are clean, flea-free, quiet, non-chewing and housebroken.

High chair and pack and play are available. Children are welcome at this house but this is not an ideal rental for large families with young children as this is an area of full time residents. We ask all our guests to respect our neighbors' right to the quiet enjoyment of the neighborhood, especially when using the pool -- neighbors are sensitive about "kids screaming in the pool." The City of Palm Springs has strictly enforced codes concerning noise. Guests must keep conversation to a reasonable level and the playing of music in the backyard is not allowed by law. Parties, receptions, events etc are not allowed by city ordinances. Film or video shoots are prohibited by the City of Palm Springs.

Pool and spa heating are not included from October 1 to June 1 and is recommended for the cooler months. Please let us know if you are interested in using the spa and/or heating the pool and we will include it in the quote.

Concerning supplies, this house rents from three nights to three months so it is not practical to offer supplies, comestibles or services such as daily housecleaning. We start you off with some toilet paper and hand soap for your arrival. Guests are welcome to use all other supplies left at the house including cleaning and pantry items.

POOL AND SPA HEATING PRICES

For monthly renters, we can accept an energy deposit and deduct best estimate of gas used for pool and spa heating and document with gas bill. Please ask for more details.

'This magnificent private home was stunning from the first look, from the gated and beautifully landscaped exterior into the grand foyer. The wonderful marble floors and high ceilings showcase the gorgeous mountains. We loved the high tech kitchen with full amenities, breakfast nook and the formal dining room, the fireplace and the elegant bedrooms. The video room was inviting and the pool and spa are in a lovely backyard. It feels as if Palm Springs is giving you a gigantic hug. It's the type of comfort you'll want to visit over and over.'
Caren B., Los Angeles, CA

'We love your home! Not enough superlatives can describe the comfortable seating, artwork, etc. The great room is really great. The den is so cozy I could [and did] spend all day in there. The MBR is so quiet I thought it must be sound proofed. The neighborhood is a wonderful cornucopia of mid-century architecture which we love. I would love to rent from you again.'
Adrian H., Redondo Beach, CA

'I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed the home. We did lots of golfing, shopping, touring but the best times were at the house. The weather was fantastic which was an added bonus. It was the most relaxing, private and enjoyable home we have ever rented and we will speak very highly of this property and your service to all our Canadian family and friends. We want to already start planning to come back next year.'
Bev and Harry D., Saskatoon, Sasketchewan

"We've lived here 11 years. This prime location street has steadily improved and accelerated in value. Neighbors are very quiet, mostly anonymous. Privacy is paramount. Nearby vacation rentals (4) are quiet and strictly regulated/enforced. A couple of houses have multiple vehicles perpetually parked on street, no garages or don't use them. Most respect our street parking. "

"A dog park ! There isn’t enough public space for dog owners to let their dogs run ..as Palm Springs becomes a year round get away vacation spot and more year round residents we need a big beautiful dog park bigger than any other so we can throw frisbees for our 4 legged kids one that shows that the city cares about the well-being of all home owners pets ! It’s time we set higher standards for our animals instead of building more buildings I know others see $ being thrown away but I see a big return as people will see the city cars about its residents and their pets ! There isn’t a park anywhere on the south side of town and to think all the land on south palm canyon is being used fior condos the last night stretch of land where you can see from the base to the tip top with out anything blocking your view but soon condos will be there I think that’s a Disgusting use of land"

"Some people don’t pick up after their dogs at the park. Dog owners wouldn’t like to be banned from Parks due to this issue. Palm Springs stands out for being clean and neat city. People love to see other dogs walking in the neighborhood, most dogs look happy and well groomed so in the same manner they should contribute to keep the city clean as well"

"This community doesn’t have events, ever. So this neighborhood isn’t really that special. It’s boring. Shady people always hang out over there by the windy cove mart. I saw bullet shells in the parking lot one morning. When I first moved over here five years ago, none of those things were going on. Too many people are moving in around here and their not the good kind. "
