3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo my kid is 5 years old first year in school didn’t think nothing of it seen the bad reviews have heard nothing but bad things about this school and I was like well he is in kindergarten how bad can it be well first day they call after dropping him off asking me if I know what my kid was wearing when he got dropped of I proceeded to ask y because it’s not a normal question to ask they said they weren’t sure if it was my kid they had in front of them now mind you first day strangers around him he didn’t want to say his name ok not a big deal also my wife shows up at 2:15 to pick up my kid they tell her to come at 2:20 because of the school buses not a big deal next day my wife shows up to pick him up and they tell her they put him on a buss not only that they don’t know which bus or where his at now mind you not the only parents that kids weren’t there a complete nightmare so am beyond upset as you can understand how incompetent are the people working here not only that you’re dealing with peoples kids in the end my kid got dropped off at someone house waiting for there kid that never showed up because their daughter was still at the school how do you explain this wow what a joke of a school what parent in their right mind would continue to bring their kid here and risk, it won’t happen again who’s willing to take that risk I’m notI mean with everything going on this is crazyParent Review8mo ago - Bloom High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter was a 2020 graduate of Bloom. She was able to complete core course credit hours from Prairie State College through the dual enrollment option offered. She graduated with honors, was able to transfer the PSC credits, and received a full scholarship to the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. Thanks to her college preparedness, she is now eligible to graduate in December 2023( those extra credits helped her complete earlier than usual), however because she will be going on to University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for graduate school, she’s delaying graduation until June to allow herself to complete required courses as it relates to a PHD in pharmaceuticals. She has a 3.5 GPA and will be graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. My son is now a freshman at Bloom, with 4 AP classes this year. I’m confident he will be successful as Bloom does provide an environment in which he is comfortable with learning advanced concepts and also supports his social emotional development. "Great place only problem they don’t fix anything and high prices for rent. Public transportation is good if you don’t have a car. They starting to build up Lynwood but we need a grocery store out here. Not that many kids around "
