6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCahuilla is an amazing school! We just relocated from another city and from the beginning of us starting at Cahuilla, we have always felt welcomed and cared for by the staff and teachers. The new principal, Dr. Ryan Saunders is an amazing new addition to the school - he is vibrant, always out on the campus talking to the students, observing if students need help (I witnessed him see a young student lost one more and said "are you lost, can I help you find your classroom?" - it just warmed my heart), etc. We have two children in special education (2nd Grader and 3rd Grader) and I am beyond pleased with the care and nurturing I am seeing take place in their classrooms. With the addition of the brand new state of the art playground this year, this school has got it all! And a great PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) that supports the school, obtaining great fundraising support from the Palm Springs Community. The cafeteria is awesome, offering a fresh fruits & vegetables bar - what an awesome thing for the students, and the cafeteria staff treats the kids as if they were their own. The office staff is amazing, always so welcoming, smiles every day! Cahuilla is awesome!Parent Review9y ago - Raymond Cree Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFYI most of the "sources" in this website's rankings are several years old. The data is not current! Several rankings I clicked on said "data from 2014."Currently, RCMS has great Elective programs -- perhaps the best Music (both Band and Chorus) in the district! Teachers care and work hard with students. All classes are rigorous and teachers have high expectations of all students.Facilities are old but have been reasonably maintained. RCMS has probably the best gym and stage compared to the other middle schools. And there are no dumpy portables, every student is in real classrooms.Teacher Review4y ago - Palm Springs High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExceptional school with numerous academic, athletic, and artistic opportunities for for students. Tremendous staff always willing to work with students and families. If you are not active in your child’s life this is not the school for you. This is a school for people with goals and parents willing to partner with teachers so that every student succeeds. Outstanding program for honors students!Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 2001 Camino Parocela #P115.

"We've lived here 11 years. This prime location street has steadily improved and accelerated in value. Neighbors are very quiet, mostly anonymous. Privacy is paramount. Nearby vacation rentals (4) are quiet and strictly regulated/enforced. A couple of houses have multiple vehicles perpetually parked on street, no garages or don't use them. Most respect our street parking. "

"This is a great uptown area for dining and shopping in Palm Springs area with transportation and great view of the mountains "

- Trulia User

"A dog park ! There isn’t enough public space for dog owners to let their dogs run ..as Palm Springs becomes a year round get away vacation spot and more year round residents we need a big beautiful dog park bigger than any other so we can throw frisbees for our 4 legged kids one that shows that the city cares about the well-being of all home owners pets ! It’s time we set higher standards for our animals instead of building more buildings I know others see $ being thrown away but I see a big return as people will see the city cars about its residents and their pets ! There isn’t a park anywhere on the south side of town and to think all the land on south palm canyon is being used fior condos the last night stretch of land where you can see from the base to the tip top with out anything blocking your view but soon condos will be there I think that’s a Disgusting use of land"

"Some people don’t pick up after their dogs at the park. Dog owners wouldn’t like to be banned from Parks due to this issue. Palm Springs stands out for being clean and neat city. People love to see other dogs walking in the neighborhood, most dogs look happy and well groomed so in the same manner they should contribute to keep the city clean as well"

"This community doesn’t have events, ever. So this neighborhood isn’t really that special. It’s boring. Shady people always hang out over there by the windy cove mart. I saw bullet shells in the parking lot one morning. When I first moved over here five years ago, none of those things were going on. Too many people are moving in around here and their not the good kind. "
