N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat place. My son was entering his second pre k in one year and his transition into North Street was smooth and effortless. The teachers are welcome and intelligent and found the perfect way to make my son feel safe. Total 180 in his attitude about going to school. His first pre k he never settled in, in the two months he was there. Every morning at drop off he would cry and beg me not to leave him. But at North he was acclimated by the end of his orientation meeting. Walked right off the bus a happy kid day one. I also enjoy the high level of communication i have with his teachers. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI rate this school with one star. I am extremely disgusted with the performance of the staff in this school. The teachers are rude and constantly bully there students, I have seen this in action with my own eyes. The staff does not communicate with one another in regards to any situation at hand. My daughter had many medical situations with doctors documentation and still the staff made it nearly impossible for her to go to school, such as " Oh!!! you finally made it to school today!" She was put in a special program for troubled children to accommodate her medical problems. I received a call from the principal stating that we need to withdraw her from school or he will do the withdraw her himself, mind you this is a new principal and was extremely rood with his message. "It’s a very small town, nice to live in but not much to do here. Kids in the schools are rude and are very diverse, teachers are into picking favorites when it comes to grading "

"In this neighborhood you will see all ages...maybe a family walking on the sidewalk along with their child riding their bike with training wheels or a couple walking for a sunset view at dusk. The friendliness of all is unique. Everyone keeps their yard nicely mowed and they keep the sidewalks clear in the snowy weather! It is a very relaxing area to live in and I highly recommend it!"

"I have lived in Windsor Locks for 40 years. I was raised here and now I raise my child here. As of right now I live on a busy street with not a big yard. We do walk more because now we are closer to friends, the park, restaurants and stores. "

"Everyone is friendly and the neighborhood is safe for kids. Park is taken care of, pool is open to public. Shops are close by. Rail station is being rebuilt"
