South Elementary School

My children were here from PK3-2nd grade. This school has definitely exceeded expectations on all levels. My boys were given the best foundation for success since the first day. The school offers many specials including strings lessons (viola, violin, or cello) starting in 1st grade. The staff at OE front office, nurse and teachers are exceptional. If your child needs extra reading support, coaching or challenging the staff at OE is very responsive to your child’s needs. The leadership team at OE is one to be benchmarked. My boys will continue to love, cherish and remember their OE days for ever. Thank you OE for an amazing 5 years!

This schools is amazing , and it starts from the very top . The principal in my opinion sets a safe and fun environment for all the students and the teachers there follow suite . They truly care for the students and it shows . I have 3 children that are currently attending and they don't want to miss a day of school because of how much they enjoy learning and socializing with the teachers and other students .

Great place. My son was entering his second pre k in one year and his transition into North Street was smooth and effortless. The teachers are welcome and intelligent and found the perfect way to make my son feel safe. Total 180 in his attitude about going to school. His first pre k he never settled in, in the two months he was there. Every morning at drop off he would cry and beg me not to leave him. But at North he was acclimated by the end of his orientation meeting. Walked right off the bus a happy kid day one. I also enjoy the high level of communication i have with his teachers. I get notes home and reports on his behavior regularly. After i had my second child they let me have ppt meetings over the phone for a while too.
