Our brand new renovation of our family's historic 1928 Korbel Family Home is loaded with modern amenities. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a glorious hot tub and outdoor shower next to the epic lawn you can live comfortably. Then play on your own private dock (available some time in April through September), with kayaks and loads of outdoor seating on deck and dock.
Meet blissful peace alongside wild nature, with the Pacific Coast 15 minutes from your door, fabled Northwood golf course down the street, and only 90 minutes to San Francisco.
This is a temporary rental (not year-round). We sublet our home from time to time, and the next available window is February 21, 2024 to April 20, 2024. We will consider 31+ day rentals during that span (or rent the whole span). The rent varies by season. Winter is $5000 per month, summer is more. It will also be available starting August 9, 2024 for summer rates (inquire if interested). The 1700 sq ft does not include an office and an exterior studio, which are closed to tenant use (the whole property is 2100 sq ft).
We love our home and expect guests to treat it with care as well as be sensitive to the consideration of neighbors. No parties are allowed and we have quiet hours from 10pm - 7am.
The guest must limit the number of people using the property to that agreed upon with the owner. The owner may require the names of all the members of your party.
No smoking or pets.

"Yes, I live and work here, in Monte Rio, on the beautiful Russian River, in the magnificent redwoods. Life is slow, inexpensive, and quiet! There isn't much in terms of commerce, but we have everything we need here, including local grocers, several nice hotels, with bars and restaurants, and nice neighbors! Truly, heaven on earth, and only 1500 permanent residents. Love it here!"

"Russian River beach! Dog-friendly. Kayak and canoe rentals. Minutes from the coast. Ropes course nearby. Zip-line in the redwoods! Fine dining and great hot-dog stand! Dog park. Theatre. Two inns, cottages and vacation rentals. Bohemian Grove is located here. Market and mini-market in town. Bus service. "
