2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children transferred to Heritage from one of the local Christian schools. The class sizes are the same but I feel the attention the teachers give them is greater at HHS. The teachers really do invest in their students.Parent Review12y ago - Sandusky Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't really like this school because my son got bully from a boy and now he is getting bully by a girl. I know the principal will fix the problem because they have good principals there.Parent Review6y ago - William M. Bass Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had the great displeasure of substitute teaching in this school earlier this year. I came in hopeful since the program I graduated from at Liberty University really pumped up this school. I was subbing for a kindergarten classroom. First of all, I hate that the school is 3 floors - I had no idea where anything was and no one helped me to figure it out. At most other schools, they give first time subs a map. Furthermore, the children were awful and undisciplined. It felt like hell on earth. I never gained control over the classroom. I reached out to both the principal and another male staff member for help, which was a big deal because I never ask administration/other teachers for help while subbing. I was brushed off. I was reduced to tears before the end of the day. I was supposed to come back the next day, but I told them I would not be returning. I will never sub at Bass Elementary again. Furthermore, I would never in a million years want to be employed there full-time or send my own children there.Teacher Review10y ago - Check out schools near 1960 Seabury Ave.

"it's a dog friendly community which is great. I have a dog and love all dogs but I feel like I'm the only one that actually picks up after their dog. I get the fact that it's gross and all, but if you can't simply pick up after your dog then maybe you shouldn't have one. "

"I would say it's pretty good place. Naturally, as most places have, there are some creeps around every now n then. They're pretty easy to ignore though. it's also kinda hard to find homes if you want to stay in one district. So you probably should get over that little detail. they have like 5 different schools in one city. I DON'T GET IT."

"There are nice parks in the area. Certain neighborhoods are a bit sketchy but most of the city is very safe. Many people keep to themselves while being open to conversation when engaged. Downtown is really on the rise with renovation and new business. The city and surrounding county schools provide sound education with an impressive focus on special needs and vocational excellence."

"Free dog bags are available. Dog owners are friendly. Although most dog owners pickup, sadly there are still the few who don’t. This makes it bad for everyone else who try to keep the place healthy and clean. The city workers do a great job to add new dirt from time to time which helps a lot."
