Out of the entire school, maybe 4 good teachers. When choosing a school make sure the leadership is good. The teachers don’t even care for the Principal due to her lack of knowledge and accountability. The environment is check based. I had a teacher, specifically the Science teacher (white male) say to me “ majority of these parents use us as a babysitter”. I knew then, these people don’t care about the well being of my children. WITH MIND FRAME OF LOCAL GOVERMENT AND TEACHERS ATTITUDES TOWARDS STUDENTS, THEY ARE NO LONGER THE CARRAIGE THAT TOTALLY TAKES YOUR CHILD TO THE NEXT STEP OF GETTING YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER INTO COLLEGE. TO GET WHAT YOU FEEL YOUR CHILD DESERVES, THE ALONG WITH THE STUDENT MUST TAKE ON THE RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE STUDENT GETS ACCESS TO WHAT THE SCHOOL MIGHT NOT OFFER. WITH THAT BEING SAID IS FORD A GOOD OR BAD SCHOOL, NO NOT AT ALL. CASS TECH, DESPITE ITS GRADIOSO IMAGE OF THE PAST ISN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE. RENNISANCE IS THE SAME JUST, IN ASPANKING NEW BUILDING WITH THE SAME TEACHERS AS IN ANY OTHER PUBLIC SCHOOL. THE KEY TO BETTER EDUCATION IN FORD IS NOT JUST MAKING SURE YOUR KID GETS TO SCHOOL, BUT AS A PARENT GETTING INVOLVED AND SEEING WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE TO MAKE NOT ONLY YOUR CHILD BUT FORD A BETTER SCHOOL.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 19335 Winston St.

"My family has been in this neighborhood since the late 1950’s. We’ve watched the area through the cities ups and downs... but in the last number of years especially, we’ve watched a community that has really had a true rebound. This area has a lot to offer as far as a variety of houses,in addition to a variety of lot sizes. This neighborhood directly, and conveniently, borders both redford and southfield; and is also just moments away from Farmington Hills, Oak Park, Ferndale, Livonia, Dearborn Heights, and more. Downtown Detroit is a brief trip down 8 Mile to M-10; or Telegraph to I-96."
