I would not recommend for families and not recommend area as it is not safe constant police , helicopters, police chases and construction noise its a NIGHTMARE and be expected to be woken up every weekday morning by 6:45 am due to jack hammering due to construction! There is a sense of community but it feels quite divided between the old guard and new rather Central American or not. I’ve lived in Westlake for five years and thusly love and hate the neighborhood yet proud to call it home."
