6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at CV and overall are impressed with the school. It’s safe and they have programs supporting strong character and respect. Great communication from the Principal and the AP is always visible on campus. The fun clubs and great electives are a plus! The Honors teachers have impressive credentials and seem knowledgeable. The only thing we struggle with is the Honors classes assign excessive homework. Not sure how much benefit comes from hours of homework every night. My husband and I sought out a home in Villa Park so we can be within the radius to be enrolled into this school (although there is an option for open enrollment) and are not disappointed with our decision. The teachers are engaged and go above and beyond for the students emotionally and academically. My children are always eager to go to school and make sure to greet previous teachers. My children have different learning styles and I feel confident they are gaining knowledge through various teaching modalities while also getting the opportunity to explore other ways to learn a subject. "It is in a nice quiet safe area with low crime and large lots with plenty of room for pets and kids to play. It is located within easy walking distance to stores and schools. It is a short distance to several regional parks with many outdoor activities. It has easy freeway access."
