4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHi All,I want to put this review here as I would like to inform the viewers of this website, of my experience with MacArthur Middle School. I have a disabled child who is assigned to the school and has not been provided a special bus as of today. I was circling from one person to another till today and literally found that the assigned bus is going to pick up and drop off my disabled daughter four blocks away starting tomorrow. This is because the responsible person thinks that a paved street of 30 feet width ending in a cul-de-sac of 40 feet radius is not appropriate for the bus and tells me that there are no protocols for changing this pick-up/drop-off address. Lessons learned: Never buy a house on a cul-de-sac if you have a disabled child, especially in a modern community like "Seven Oaks" built in the late 90s. I think I shall also go the other way and try to ask the developers of the community to fix this issue because their architects did not consider the ADA requirements in their designs. I think the better would be to recommend not to move to Anne Arundel County at all! Thanks for reading and please pray for us so we get the best solution to the problem.Best Regards,Parent Review7mo ago - Meade Heights Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family has had a wonderful experience at Meade Heights. I have a child that has graduated from the school and two other children that are currently enrolled. The teachers have been responsive to my children's needs and have been able to effectively communicate with me. Ms. Otwell is a wonderful PreK teacher and my child is thriving. Meade Heights has been a wonderful school where it seems the students needs are put first. The new principle Mrs. Foster is easy to talk to and seems very involved with the students progress at the school.Parent Review4y ago - Meade High School

"It’s plenty of space and room for dog owners. There are plenty of trails to walk dogs. If you live in a townhome community you won’t have much room for dogs to play outdoors unless you walk them. "

"It’s a good location to have access to activities, shopping, fine dining, train and flights. Influx of military personnel tends to keep a mixture of mature and respectful family’s circulating within the community. Financially sound area with many good opportunities. A little busy for some, just right for many. "

"People wonder through neighborhoods and break into cars a lot. Lock your car doors when you park. A lot of solicitors knock on doors and sometimes they are scams. Tell your children not to open the doors for them. "
