The teachers they had were amazing and the school principal, assistant principal and administration were great. They had a few incidents in the area that resulted in lockdowns but the school every necessary precaution. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe current administration is abysmal. Teachers are unsupported and afraid to say anything for fear of reprisals. There is fighting daily in the lunch room which remains largely unsupervised. Bullying is a huge issue that goes largely unaddressed by the administration, affects numerous kids, and teachers are left unsupported to do the best they can. Safety plans have been drawn up with no intention of actually implementing or following them.The current principal (Moore — in case this hopefully changes in the future) is more concerned with attendance and receiving her federal dollars than she is about supporting her staff, or protecting and educating kids.The school board needs to take immediate action as this school is failing its students and teachers.Parent Review5mo ago - Severn Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended Seven Oaks and we were very happy with the school. We went to several school events and enjoyed the Science Fair a great deal. They also did a great job with his speech therapy. My one critique is that arrival and dismissal can be a challenge, but that has a lot to do with a small parking lot.
