4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJust wanted to give a heads up. This school is NOT worth sending your kids here. There education program is not good at all. My daughter had so many different incidents with bullying. So many I can't even count on my hands. We had to miss so many days because she did not feel safe! Had meetings and phone calls with the principal and assistant principal and nothing still got done. My daughter got hit in the face on the bus called and reported it they said they have to watch the video (which they could not show me) to see what happened. They said the video only last for 3 days then it disappears. So 5 days later they decided to call my daughter in the office to show her the "video" which claims they did not see anything like that happen. My daughter came home told me that and she said I promise you it did happen! She woke up and said she couldn't sleep and she knew why BECAUSE THE VIDEO THEY SHOWED HER WASN'T FROM THAT SAME DAY! She didn't even notice when she seen it, but the video was from the day before. They are sneaky here at forest park. They try everything to save themselves from all the negativity. There are so many other incidents I can write but just know bullying is BAD here. Some teachers care, but as for the principal, and all the higher ups they DONT! They dont solve anything, or discipline. They always say they cant tell us what actions will happen but my daughter is in school and sees these kids still outside the next couples days, still at school, BECAUSE THERE ISNT NOTHING DONE! Please try to find a better school for your child. It's not worth your child feeling unsafe everyday, and worrying about if they will get hit, or tripped, or just mentally abused by these kids & adults that work here!Parent Review1y ago - Lakeside Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent and this school has been an overall great experience for us. The teachers are kind and care a lot about the students. They also deliver top quality lessons and have high expectations. I am so happy we decided on the neighborhood school!Parent Review2y ago - North Side High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNSHS has, and is, making great progress! Beside the hard working, dedicated staff, NS is a great cultural experience where anyone willing can earn a top rate education. GreatSchools rating does not take into account the percentages of English language learners, over 10%, and the number of special education students in the district functional skills program at NS? Those programs add to the diversity and student experiencing other cultures and under privileged. The kids work to help each other. NS have a very large number of college credit courses, access to vocational careers/internships and many supports to improve academic and life skills. The administrators have very high expectations and hold the kids to them and seem to be good leaders. The band program is tops in FWCS and have been to the state finals 11 of the last 12 years even though they don't have the resources of the more well to do suburban schools. Yes, there are some rude and unmotivated students but these seem to be declining at a huge rate. The athletics programs have worked hard with there athletes to be good students and great citizens. Student leadership in the school is on the rise!! I recommend North Side to anyone who is willing to work hard and earn a diploma in a diverse school.Other Review8y ago - Check out schools near 1823 Griswold Dr #E11.

"I have lived in the neighborhood for 17 years with my kiddos. Love our neighbors and esp love being able to access the river green way, several parks and downtown. If you dont have a car, there are several bus stops in the neighborhood. Walking distance to the fun festivals downtown. No intentions on moving. Great location."
