4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average10/10. I attended this school when I was younger and now my kids attend it as well. The staff are so welcoming and go above and beyond to try and help students with ANYTHING they may need. I love this school! They food banks every month, they have a great support from the community! "Easy & quick commute. Only 5 minutes to Uptown & Midtown. There’s always a lot of traffic on Central Ave during rush hour but it moves pretty quickly. "

"The area is popular for marathans. The neighborhood association does several events including movies in the park in summer. Midwood Maynia is big and the Fall Crawl also promotes treating trees for cankerworms. Lots of good food, great library branch, & a thriving arts community."

"Plaza Midwood is the best neighborhood in Charlotte. Strong community feel. Welcoming community where neighbors know each other by name. Safe, close to downtown, and lacks the pretentiousness of neighborhoods South of downtown."

"My husband and I have lived in three different houses on the same street in Plaza-Midwood over the last 25 years. We LOVE this neighborhood, which just keeps getting better! Can't imagine living anywhere else. A great eclectic mix of people and activities. Great community involvement. Great restaurants. Fun and funky little shops. A great all around neighborhood!"

"Plaza Midwood is a fun, friendly place to live. We love walking to neighborhood restaurants like Zada Jane's, the Penguin, and Soul. We also enjoy walking our dogs near the Charlotte Country Club, which is just around the corner from our home. The Plaza Midwood annual Pet Parade and Home Tours are a "must" as well. This is the BEST neighborhood in Charlotte!!"

"Plaza-Midwood is one of the best places to live in Charlotte. Very walkable.. and a very active neighborhood associatiion. On the bus line, plus ou can walk to the grocery, library, bakery, bank, and many restaurants and shops. Pet-friendly. A neigjborhood where people know and like their neighbors. "
