"Quiet, scenic, almost country-ish., but just north of N.D. Campus, plus 3 more colleges. Tawny Lake is a hideaway that's unknown, even to most local people. "

"Tawny Lake is just north of Notre Dame, but in a quiet, woodsy location; in fact, many people have no idea it's here..with it's fishing , boating, swimming...but it's near colleges, restaurants, shopping malls, including University Park Mall and all it's satellite malls. It's quiet, scenic..everything you could want!"

"A great place to live! Very close to Notre Dame, St. Mary;s, etc., but a hideaway most people haven't discovered. Tawny Lake is a spring-fed private fishing lake surrounded by beautiful, but moderately-priced villas. It's a very quiet area, but near everything!"

"Convenient to everything in the Michiana area, yet quiet and pleasant. Several colleges (incl. Notre Dame), within10-15 min. drive, new library, churches, restaurants, huge mall and many new , smaller malls. Civic Theatre and others; top dance groups. Visit farm country and Amish destinations. Exciting developments with South Bend and Notre Dame....in nano research, data storage, etc. South Bend is developing into a science and research center,..downtown is getting better all the time. Many parks, near Lake Michigan. Silver Hawks baseball team often sends members to majors, and...we're near Chicago. What more could you want?"
