Situated overlooking Echo Park Lake, this coveted one level unit has amazing lake front views, unmatched in the City of Angels. Also, from the unit may be seen, perfect views of Fireworks from Dodger Stadium on Friday nights. The Lago Vista Complex is an Oasis in the city. It's a Mid-Century modern masterpiece displaying curvilinear design, evoking the Guggenheim and the Space Age. Ceilings were raised, hallways expanded, a second half bath was added. It is the only unit in the complex with two bathrooms. The unit features beautiful wood floors throughout, stylish Heath tiles in the kitchen and backsplash and bespoke glass tiles in each bathroom. The primary bathroom is an entire wet room. The kitchen features an impressive, oversized waterfall island, encased in authentic Ceasarstone countertops. The bathroom counters are Caesarstone also. The washer and dryer are front loading. There are beautiful Belgian linen custom window treatments with blackout feature, plus custom see-through shades, which block glare and enhance the view. Three sliding glass doors, provide ceiling to floor incredible views from each room and have custom window tinting. This is a dream come true for homeowners seeking to own a bit of architectural history in a turn key package. The area is walkable and Sunset Blvd is close by with all the best shops and restaurants on the East Side. Just outside the front door is easy access to the 101 and 5 freeways. "I grew up here with my grandparents. I have always felt at home here and I wish I could return to live here once more. But it's just way too expensive it saddens me to the core that I can't afford to live where I grew up. "

"Echo park is pretty safe and family friendly. Great for young single families. Very diverse community even though that was caused mostly by gentrification. Overall wonderful food and coffee shops walking and driving distance. My small family loves living here. "

"The hills are a bit rough, and like most of LA, parks are limited. I feel bad for dogs here, especially the larger breeds. They belong in nature."

"Echo Park might be the last egalitarian neighborhood in LA. Working class, hipsters, artists, professionals, Latinos, Caucasians, Asians, African Americans, Gay, Straight, dog lovers, kids, old, young.. I see all of them every day here. Echo Park is funky, artsy and a little rough around the edges. And what other LA neighborhood has TWO great parks (Echo Park Lake & Elysian Park).."
