"Our neighborhood is fairly quiet though you can sometimes hear the gun range at the rod and gun club if you are outside. People are friendly but most often keep to themselves. It's close to shopping and amenities but feels removed from town."

"I've lived in Gardner since 2003 and find it to be a nice area overall with lots of recreational areas both within the town itself and in the surrounding towns. Like most communities, some parts of town have aged a little better than others but it is generally a pleasant mid-sized town."

"Gardner is a small town which has everything, really. Town comes complete with a large park & some smaller ones; good schools, plenty of churches, shopping, an indoor & outdoor pool; a skating rink, 2 bowling alleys, some decent restaurants, a Wal-Mart, car repair shops, all major fast food type places, etc. For a little dot on the map, its got alot. If you live in town, you can walk to most of the major stuff. Public transportation is just adequate. Not a great hot spot for entertainment or nightlife; go to Worcester for that. A nice little family town; it needs to stay that way"
