"We lived in west Little Rock for nine years before moving Downtown. This is the best neighborhood in central Arkansas. It's like living in a small town surrounded by a city! We know almost all of our neighbors. It's safe and convenient. We bicycle to the River Market, the Art Center at McArthur Park, the River Trail (over twenty miles of biking/walking trails), the historic museums, and the Clinton Presidential Library/Museum. Lots of fine restaurants and fast food places. The State Capitol and Governor's Mansion remind us that we are a center of government (Federal, State, County, & Metro) and politics. "

"We live in this neighborhood and love it-- mostly for the charm of the older homes and friendly neighbors. Many homes are in disrepair. I'm a young woman, and I wouldn't feel safe walking my dogs after 10 pm. The nearby grocery store is pretty poor quality. The neighborhood is getting a Boulevard Bread Co.-- which adds incredible value in my gluttonous opinion. Community Bakery and Juanitas are also a few short blocks away-- but they're nothing to write home about."
