"I've lived in West Conshy for about 6 years and have fallen in love with this town. It's close to everything - major highways, Philly, shopping, excellent local bars & restaurants, the Schuylkill River Trail, and SEPTA Regional Rail. The community is very involved; the W. Conshy police and George Clay Fire Co. are excellent. Besides the heavy traffic in the surrounding major roads, there's nothing I can complain about. Also, if you're a dog person - this is definitely the town for you! "

" I've lived here off and of for 37 years. My Father for 58 and my Mother for 53 years. Growing up here was wonderful it was the typical small town lots of children and good people. The kind of town where you knew everyone and we watched out for one another. A great place to grow up and raise a family and grow old. The last 20 years or so there have been many changes in and around the Town, some good some not so much. With the addition of a few ten to fifteen story office complexes a couple large Hotels like the Philadelphia Marriott West in West Conshohocken and the Residence Inn by Marriott in Conshohocken, the town has become allot more attractive to many. There are also many great restaurants and Pubs / Taverns in and around town along with other small businesses. For those who drive a distance to and from work this is also a great find, Direct access to route's 76 The Schuylkill Expressway east to Phila. and west to Valley Forge Interchange , I-476 north and south and minutes away from the PA. Turnpike and NE Extension of the Turnpike. There is a full park complete with baseball, football fields, basketball courts and kiddie park with pavillion, cooking area, bbq grills and picnic tables. A second play area with kiddie park a few blocks away. For the outdoors-man or woman, there's fishing, boating, walking, biking and running on or along the river trails that run from Philadelphia to Historic Valley Forge National Park. Traffic is the only downfall I see living here, but progress must go on. All and all West Conshohocken is a wonderful place to spend the evening with friends, have a few drinks, conversation and good meal. There is very little crime to speak of due in large to our own hands on police force. While on the topic of safety The George Clay Volunteer Fire Company,The finest firefighters in the County if not the Country. If you are looking for a great family oriented, bussiness oriented, lay back small town, you found it here. Dave "
