Description

Enjoy the convenience of staying in one of Washington's finest and most sought-after neighborhoods. Walkability Score 94! Our Georgetown Gem is an irresistibly charming, cozy and sunny, 100+ year old end-unit row house in Georgetown's East Village. This petite 624 square foot home has been thoughtfully renovated and features both a new kitchen and marble bath. In the kitchen the granite counters wrap around to form a counter with seating for 2. The kitchen has all the essentials you will need to prepare a full meal from the items you pick up at the local farmer's markets or neighborhood stores. Please note there is a combo convection/microwave oven rather than a conventional oven. The washer/dryer is a all in one unit in the kitchen.
French doors open to the charming brick patio with seating for 4; enjoy a meal or beverage alfresco on a mild spring or fall day! Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds, (or a bed and a desk and chair, as your prefer), and a remodeled marble bath with glassed in shower between them.

Transportation is a snap! Walk to the DuPont Metro Station on the Red Line or take one of many buses that ply nearby Q, P, M Streets or Wisconsin Ave to all destinations of interest in DC from Massachusetts Ave, DuPont Circle, Capital Hill, K St and Arlington.

What Locals Say about Georgetown

  • Trulia User
"This neighbourhood is about as European a village as any place in America. You can walk everywhere for literally anything you need in day to day life (food, medicine, hospitality, entertainment, sport). It’s a largely sheltered paradise from so much urban strife that impacts other communities in and around D.C. It’s a privilege and honour to live here - and it’s an amazing place to raise “city children”. "

"All of the neighbors know each other on a first name basis -- from every single home on the street. I often come out on snowy mornings to find one of them has shoveled my sidewalk and stairs, or put away my trash cans. On Halloween, residents -- many in costume - sit on their doorsteps to greet trick or treaters. A truly fun and unique place to live."
