Description

Lovingly restored and centrally located in prime Koreatown, this large 3 Bedroom/2 bathroom character-rich Spanish-Style apartment is centrally-located and just minutes away from many hip areas of Los Angeles including Virgil Village, East Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park and DTLA.

This privately owned and managed property has recently been completely repainted on the outside and has been fully upgraded with all new copper plumbing, new drains, all-new electrical and foundation bolting for earthquake protection. The property is gated and has motion lights for additional security.

The apartment itself has been fully upgraded and restored in the past few years and features many character amenities including original doors, windows, base and wall mouldings, refinished original hardwood floors, antique sconce lighting and vintage tile.

Upon entering the apartment, you will notice the large open formal Living Room that includes a recessed nook and striking west facing French windows. The living room also features a recently-restored Batchelder-style faux fireplace and 4 original vintage sconces on the walls. Above the fireplace mantle are built-in wiring connections for cable for residents who prefer to place flat screen TVs above the fireplace without having to run cable.

Off the living room is a long center hallway that leads to the remaining living areas of the apartment and a very large storage closet.

The first two bedrooms for the unit are each large enough for a queen-sized bed and the very rear third bedroom can easily fit a king-sized bed. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and all three bedrooms feature window A/C.

We have completely upgraded the kitchen from the ground up. Above the newly-installed slate tile floor are newer custom cabinets covered by granite countertops and a Kohler brand double bowl sink. Top brand stainless steel appliances abound including:

- Large Whirlpool Stainless Steel refrigerator
- Samsung Stainless Steel Stove
- Built in Stove Hood
- Top-Brand Stainless-steel Dishwasher
- Garbage Disposer

On the left side of the hallway opposite the bedrooms are two very cute restored white and black vintage tile bathrooms each complete with a shower tub combo with subway tile, a newer Kohler toilet and pedestal sink.

An In-unit top-brand stackable laundry is also included and in a separate room adjacent to the two bedrooms.

Those who love old charm but not old wiring and plumbing will appreciate that we have installed modern copper plumbing throughout, new electrical, and cable wiring for Internet.

This apartment, which is extremely rare for the area, also features refinished original hardwood floors throughout.

Window A/C is included for additional cooling during the hot summer months.

The apartment is a short drive to the 101 freeway to the north.

Please contact me today as this rare, highly appointed character apartment won't last!

"It’s quiet and for the most part people pick up but there are a lot of homeless people and not much grass space so if your dog is ok with sidewalk your good (mines a city dog ) also be careful when people say dog park cause my apartment did and it was literally an ally with broken glass ? "

"This is definitely not the neighborhood to raise your kids. I moved to this neighborhood when I was 5; I will be turning 50 in a few months. Back then there were plenty of kids in the neighborhood to play with. Over time, I saw those numbers dwindle. When you look around you now, you don’t see any kids at all and the demographics are ages 45 and up. The worse part is the parking! Neighbors actually fighting with each other over parking! The problem? Too many apartments around the area, and more are being built. What was once a quiet street is now plagued with cars constantly driving through and some over speed right through. I just listed my house for sale. It’s about time."
