    "Born and raised in the Florida panhandle area, it is a great rural town with all the big city conveniences within 45 minutes! Bonifay is Exit 112 off Interstate 10. Going North will take you to restaurants, gas stations, banks, hotels and golf course. If you head South on Hwy. 79 you will see our new, modern hospital on the East side, recycling center and prison system. Continue thru Vernon and over Holmes Creek, which is a great place to play, relax, snorkel, fish or canoe. The Bay County Int'l Airport is just off Hwy. 79 South before coming to Panama City Beach, Florida - known as "The World's Most Beautiful Beaches". Plenty of shopping, restaurants, water park, Pier Park, malls, colleges, hospitals, schools, golf courses, etc. Even though we enjoy having these conveniences so close, we are proud to still have farmer's in our area along with cattle and horse farms. It is a good, safe place to raise a family or for a couple ready to retire. Highly recommended by this lifelong resident!"
