"Easy location to commute to your job. Quite neighborhood and safe. I had not had a theft in my car in over 20 years - my fault for not storing my boat. Schools are close by with a Private school (Assumption Parish) 2 blocks away. Bart is 1 mile away as Lucky store and Bayfair. Overall very affordable and especially in the Bay Area."

"I grew up in this area on Louise Street. The area was always safe and quiet. Shopping, restaurants, and parks are with in walking distance for the most part. Lake Chabot, just over the hill (150th Ave.) was a great place to take our dogs walking and to fish. Prings Restaurant had the best food and Bayfair Mall, the best shopping. Halcyon Park and the little library over on Donna was also walking distance from Louise Street, there was also a Girls/Boys club, not sure if it is still there. "

"I grew up in the Lower Bal district and my Grandparents lived there for over 50 years. The area is very clean, quiet, safe and convenient to shopping, transportation and restaurants. This would be the area I would not hesitate to purchase a home in if I was moving back home. The utilities are very reliable, in all the years my Grandparents lived in the area I only remember one power outage. Again, the lower Bal district is the place to live."
