They have given me many tools to help foster growth, and we've seen an improvement in my child's overall test scores. I can't believe that after a couple years of my student being well below grade level, he's finally approaching the level of his peers. The staff is very friendly and engaged, the facility is starting to show it's age, but it's well maintained. The neighborhood feels safe, and the school doesn't have any easy entry points, so bad guys would have a hard time accessing the school.I would absolutely recommend this school. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school so far is completely amazing. I'm in the Honors program & the teachers are definitely awesome. Teachers will teach at the best, & will challenge you as well as be the best teacher you can have. Teachers are also fun but will have to be strict which is what you should look for in every teacher! There are so many after school activities & clubs that you could join, & WCMS is just completely awesome with what they can offer you. Students who struggle with homework have the opportunity to get help, & I struggled in Math, so I was able to go to a teacher in the mornings to have homework help. There is also homework lab but I'm no sure other grades have had the opportunity. This school is really fun, & makes you want to go to school everyday. That's just how fun it is. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff here is very knowledgeable, and it seems like most of the teachers have been teaching for a long time. The staff is very accommodating towards students with special needs. The facility is a mixed bag though. There are parts of the facility that are old and not in good shape, but the newer parts of the facility are phenomenal. As of 2023 I understand that the facility is getting a makeover in some of the older parts, but we'll see. They also have metal detectors at all the main entry points, and I fell like that was a great investment, as it helps maintain safety for all who utilize the campus. However, the metal detectors have made school drop off and pick up a nightmare. Essentially, there is no dropping off right on time, or a little after the bell rings., you're either really early, or really late, no in between.Overall this is a great school, and they do an excellent job of teaching students in a fair and equitable way. "A lot of people decorate there homes very nicely for the holidays evenHalloween is fun for me once again with my kids and grandkids We all walk the neighborhood for Halloween and enjoy the fun festive decor at different homes in the neighborhood And we enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights at Christmas time as well I’ve lived here for almost 2 years now and we really like it My son and his family have lived in Goodyear for over 11 years now and they love it in Goodyear "

"We have been here since 1972… Not even the same place. It used to be a very small town where everybody knew everybody, now nobody talks to each other because they’re all new. Most of the new neighbors are not friendly… They want to be left alone, as do we, but we had friendly relations with all the neighbors that lived here beside us for 50 years before they all passed away. There is so much more traffic going up and down our street that neighbors are moving out because the new neighborhoods are using this little area for a cut through. We don’t even have street lights! Every neighbor out here had to pay for the pavement that is running up and down our street… We are county Island, not City, therefore, the city pays for nothing, and the roads are being all torn up with speeders, who have no concern for our neighborhood."

"Live right by the new Goodyear recreation center and it is great. It also has a wonderful park with pickleball courts, tennis courts and basketball courts. Great area for grilling as well. "
