Being from Union Beach, I had a wide array of options to pick when it came to High School: Keyport, Catholic schools, the Monmouth County Vocationals, or RBR. I was lucky enough to be accepted into the Finance Academy in 2012, and I never looked back. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere's been a recent exodus of teachers, even tenured ones.There needs to be an independent investigation as to why.I know the reasons of one and if that truth were to be told, last night's meeting at SBS would have been twice as vocal from concerned parents.The administration, led by the questionable competency of Brent, likes to use vindictive tactics to "keep everyone in line".Employees are afraid to speak out or be ostracized or even lose their job.The board protects Brent because the majority of them have no experience or the right to be on the Board of Education.The communication with parents is abysmal and at times, condescending.We pay massive property taxes and get virtually nothing in return.Cronyism does not belong within the realm of education, and it is the catalyst here.It's time for both an investigation and audit.Other Review2mo ago
