"It’s old school, tight knit. Many restaurants nearby, local Main St. with Post Office, Barber Shop, Coffee Shop. Our Library is just 2 blocks from Main Street. We have a Synagogue, 1 Catholic, 2 Methodist, an 1 Baptist an Episcopal and 3 other small churches of other denominations all in a 5 Block radius. We have 2 Public Elementary schools and a Junior High which are well ranked.,There is a train which runs across the Island with 2 stops in town. The Conference House which is an Historic Site is also in our town & fairs are held Fall & Winter."

"The commute is fairly easy. Taking Hylan Blvd is always best as the lights are synchronized. It runs smoothly most times. "

"i lived here 19 years, good safe place, great public schools. parks and beaches are only minutes away, can travel to work, nyc fast and only for train cost. second highest per capita income on staten island. "

"I’ve lived in Tottenville for almost 20 years. I can walk to the beach. I walk to the conference house. my Loretto is stunning. Sometime it’s like being on safari. I’ve spotted seals in the bay, rabbits and deer. I always have parking"
