4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my son's 3rd year at highlands. He has just begun his 3rd grade year. He was reading at a 4th grade level at the end of 2nd grade. The teachers and administration are clearly dedicated to the student's educations. They are open and willing to listen. This has been an excellent experience. I forgot to add, I love the small class sizes.Parent Review6y ago - duPont (Alexis I.) Middle School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current eighth grade student at AIMS middle school. Ive been here for all three years and only my first year here was bad. this school has good teaching programs and i haven't encountered a single bully and I am a very quiet person. I would recommend this school even though its reputation says otherwise.Student Review2y ago - duPont (Alexis I.) High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Daughter is a sophomore at AIHS and has had a wonderful experience so far. She is in their Early College Academy program, which has been great! Excellent staff! Principal is very involved and enthusiastic! Excellent communication from school; receive texts, social media alerts and emails. Could use more parent participation, but from what I hear, that is a common issue in High Schools.Parent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 1330 N Washington St #3.

"my neighbors everybody is super friendly and watch for each other's not too much traffic safe for kids"

"Virtually private access to I-95N. Walking distance from all points downtown and in trolley square. Short drive to major employers (e.g, Dupont experimental station, AstraZeneca, etc.). Less than 100yds from brandywine park and river. Safe, friendly people, and beautiful/cute housing. Like living in the city with all the benefits and none of the drawbacks. Doesn't get much better than this in Wilmington! "

"very active civic assoc., Progressive dinners, block parties, people look out for each other. Just off park and greenway. Walk to any thing cool going on downtown"
