Read what parents are saying about duPont (Alexis I.) Middle SchoolI am a current eighth grade student at AIMS middle school. Ive been here for all three years and only my first year here was bad. this school has good teaching programs and i haven't encountered a single bully and I am a very quiet person. I would recommend this school even though its reputation says otherwise.
Posted by a student on 1/20/2022It is a bad school. example:someone teaches English cannot pronounce English correctly. Some horrible students there.
Posted by a community member on 4/7/2017This school is terrible. There is so much bullying yet they have the audacity to hang a 'proud to be bully free' poster in the cafeteria. But i must say the academics have been inproving, expecially in math. They now offer algebra to 7th graders & geometry to 8th graders. I am currently in geometry and in honors math in the 8th grade. I must say i am struggling because of all the drama and the bullying (which are distractions) That is happening to me while in class. I do not recommend that you send your child here.
Posted by a community member on 11/23/2014I think this is an excellent school , teachers are really helpful and make learning fun, you can ask teachers anything about how your kids are doing and if there is any problems teachers are glad to help, my daughter graduated from 8th grade this year (2013) and I think is a really good school ( I will recommend this school to any parent)

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at St anns for 10 years. The student body is nice, but the teachers aren’t the best. The class sizes are very small, but that means there’s not many options when it comes to different types of classes.Parent Review2y ago - St Anthony Of Padua Grade School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease do not send your child here if they have any learning differences. My child has fairly standard ADHD diagnosed at 4 and treated well with many out of school resources. We wanted to have our children supported with Quaker principles and were enticed to WFS by home and school consultants as well as psychological consultants. Unfortunately, the deep lack of understanding of educating and supporting kids with learning differences led to us pulling my child from WFS. We were fortunate to have her long-term external psychologist join the learning plan meetings and confirmed our suspicion that the expectations and plans being set in place were setting my child up for failure. They were relying repeatedly on intrinsic motivation as opposed to external reward. Intrinsic motivation, in all of us, takes time to develop but particularly for a 6 year old ADHD child. We were so deeply disappointed that they could not flex to live by the Quaker principles of community and include and accommodate even the most mild learning difference. If your child can fit into a very narrow box of high achievement, WFS is a great school for them. Otherwise, you are best looking elsewhere.Parent Review2y ago - Tower Hill School
