"We love our neighborhood because of its proximity to the MIssissippi River. Often it feels a bit like being in the country inside the city limits. We love it’s proximity to downtown and that it can feel quiet and peaceful at the same time. "

"Holy Cross’s proximity to the levee it a huge plus for dog owners. The path along the ridge offers fantastic views of the city skyline, not to mention the neighborhood’s two iconic steamboat houses. "

"I've lived here for 3+ years and love it. It is a simple drive or bus ride to downtown (or beyond) but has the feeling of being in a charming town all it's own. Proximity to the riverfront is what made me buy here, but the neighbors are what I will remember most. Oh, and you can still see stars at night."
