6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a student at this school. It’s 2023 and reviews on this place haven’t been written in who knows how long. It was my first year here and it’s about to end, so I’ve had plenty of experiences. There’s a teacher who I will not name just to keep the peace and avoid any drama or arguments, who has said some racist things and has done some bad things with little to no apology. I also think the uniform is a bit, no, very, ridiculous. We are not allowed to wear sweaters or jackets or cardigans unless they’re a solid color or have the school logo. No hoods is a little understandable, but come on. In winter, many people need to wear something to keep themselves warm, and from what I’ve heard, not many people have that specific solid color sweater, and the school logo rule seems a bit like a cash grab. I do get that the school needs money to buy more supplies, but if you allowed students to wear sweaters, jackets etc. that didn’t have to be a solid color, many people would show more spirit. This school also has a pretty substantial bullying problem. I have been bullied time and time again by kids with a superior social life. For example, one time, I got distracted during a gym game because my mind kind of just wandered elsewhere, and I got made fun of. This has gotten so bad that sometimes kids give me weird looks when I’m just trying to get to my next class. I should not feel pressured or scared when I go to school. School is a place where you learn and interact positively with your peers, but this place has just become a place to gossip or make fun of people. Instead of making uniform stricter, maybe monitor what kids are saying more often. I’m genuinely scared for the future of this school if we just keep letting the same things happen over and over again.Student Review1y ago - Lincoln Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have had Mr. Coppin for 4th grade gifted and we were so fortunate. He made going to school fun again. His stories and sense of humor made school fun and my kids learned math, science and reading beyond the 4th grade levels.Parent Review9y ago - A B Shepard High School (Campus)

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with the school has been a positive one. I was impressed with what was available to the students and what my child was actually able to accomplish. There are many opportunities for kids to get involved with various activities, clubs and sports. I was also pleased with the parent communication as I was kept up-to-date on events via email and phone.Other Review7y ago - Check out schools near 12926 Greenwood Ave.
