5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to drop off some flowers and balloons for valentiens day to my daughter since she's been doing great at school. But the principal Cheryl Bloom was rude and unprofessional and didn't let me drop them of. I work 16 hours a day and had a 1 hour window to drop off and show moral support as any great parent would do for our kids made me feel like it was a crime to show my daughter love especially on valentines dayParent Review2mo ago - John B. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter graduated from Monlux stem Magnet this year. The only issue I had with the school staff that they don’t have enough Supervision and Helpers during lunch hours and play time. My daughter had an incident during play time and got hit and then fell off on rock thank God everything was ok, but I was very upset about it. Also , they need security cameras in front of the Main office where everyone can come and go , again for safety reasons. Again safety is number 1 nowadays . Second teaching proper and right subject regarding their age . Overall the school staff and teachers are great especially STEM Magnet !Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 12720 Burbank Blvd #223.

What Locals Say about Valley Village
- John
- Resident
- 1mo ago
"A few good parks for dogs at the periphery of the neighborhood, many dog lovers. However sidewalks disappear at critical moments making walking with a dog treacherous and there's some big dog phobia here (same as many parts of LA) "
- Blondecowboyinla
- Resident
- 2mo ago
"We have friendly neighbors who know each other, interact, talk and invite neighbors over for events and get togethers."
- BB
- Resident

"Lots of dogs flat wide streets to walk. Very dog friendly area. Neighbors helped when my dog inadvertently got out. "

"Great public and private schools, nice parks and plenty of access to places to nurture a family! My family is here to stay, very happy "
- Trulia User

"Everyone walks their dogs and says hello we have seen coyotes but rarely. Everyone gets along well. Very neighborly. "
- Trulia User
- Resident
- 2y ago
"That they actually have to respect their neighbors and their neighborhood and clean up after themselves or move elsewhere. It takes everyone caring to make this a better place - not just a place to take advantage of. Respect!"
- Trulia User
- Resident
- 2y ago
"The city doesn’t take great care of this area. The Valley Village Residents Association is a good voice to local and state government. Lots of empty and/or sketchy store fronts. I don’t believe that LA City is small business friendly. Homeless is a big problem that largely feels unaddressed. "
- Trulia User
- Resident
- 3y ago
"My commute? Well that all depends where I go in the city. It’s a very big city and your job is likely to change frequently if you’re in entertainment. "
- Rodriguez.n13

"Quiet and friendly area, little to no crime, the Noho metro station is in the heart of Noho and nice parks all around for friends, family, etc."
