I am a transferee from a different school, and my previous experiences led me to think that this place would be the same as my last experience. I was completely floored by how welcoming everyone was to me. The students are quite kind and helped me feel more accepted than I ever did in my past school. They always helped me with directions, the school system, and what lunches to avoid, haha. The teachers were also nice and understanding, explaining everything in depth and rewinding if someone does not explain something. The principal was great and worked to keep our environment one of safety and contentment. The councilor was helpful, allowing me to pick my electives and letting all students visit her to address any concerns they have. The grounds themselves were out-of-date, but they lent the atmosphere a kind of nostalgic feeling to it, like you're going to school in the 2000's. The education was easy to understand, and there was a lot of variety in culture, in my experience. They also educate us on how to deal with stress and depression, offering support if we ever need it. The school layout is somewhat hard to go through, especially on rainy days, since its usually based on the hallways, but when you walk through it for a while, you get to memorize its layout. The P.E curriculum is good, designed to get a good exercise and help burn some calories, and they also offer Weightlifting as a better alternative if you want a more challenging course. ASB is kind and supportive, and also run many events for the student body, such as dances, spirit weeks, and other themed activities. All in all, a very great experience here, and I would definitely recommend this school for your child(s)!

The school environment, parental participation, and the staff are exceptional. I have had nothing but high hopes for this school, and so far has exceeded my expectation. Cannot wait to see the statistics for the first graduating 6th grade class.

My child attended here from 9th to 12th, he transferred over when we moved from a different school district. He attended a jr high school that was not very supportive even with having an IEP. He was struggling so much I honestly felt my son would not do well at Pacifica. Finding himself in a new school and new peers, my son had a ruff start freshman year. My son has a good heart and showed he wanted to learn and become someone important. He got along well with his peers and teacher’s. A polite kid. All four years at Pacifica my son had all great teachers but one. He gave my son a hard time but my son did not let that teacher get the best of him (there is always one or more in any school). My son did great with the help of his teachers, counselors (especially Mr. Ocean) all staff, principals( Mr. Osborne will be missed, happy retirement) and peers. It takes a great village to help a child succeed in school. Class of 2022!! Pacifica Mariners all the way!! Nothing but great memories of Pacifica for my graduate! And his education continues…!

The teachers and staff are great except that the school is not technologically equip, unlike the other schools that their students are already in computer learning at grade 5.
