"Drugs are a major problem in Butler as a whole. This area is unfortunately becoming more dangerous as previous home owners are replaced by tenants of landlords who don’t live in the area. I regret my decision to buy a house here, and am looking to move."

"I was born in California and due to the military I've lived in many states. I'd have to say that I've NEVER seen a town where so many are needlessly on SSI and other government assistance..And I'm talking about the young people! The drug use, crime, and cases of overdoses' is EXTREMELY HIGH! All the stores are closing. It's a terrible shame."

"It’s fine here for dogs. A few places (not legally) I let my dog run off leash that are close by. The downside to this area is that there are a lot of people walking around. So if your dog barks at people from inside the home then this place would be torture for you!"

  • Brianna B.
"Butler Township has very strict dog laws. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing. You cannot have your dog off-leash at any time unless you have a fenced yard. If your dog barks when you're not home, even 10 minutes straight is enough for a police call. I love it, but there's alot of irresponsible dog owners here. "
