This furnished apartment is located in Oak Park, a historic village that lies immediately west of Chicago. Ernest Hemingway was born here, and Frank Lloyd Wright also lived and worked in the area. Both of these famous sons have museums dedicated to them in Oak Park: the Frank Lloyd Wright home and studio sees thousands of visitors each year, as does the Ernest Hemingway Birthplace Museum, located just a few blocks away and not to be confused with the similarly named Ernest Hemingway Boyhood Home, which is adorned with a plaque. There's also the Wonder Works Children's Museum, an ideal outing for families. Oak Park has direct connections to Chicago via the CTA's Green Line, and there is also light rail service from Oak Park train station.
