"There are an abundance of lost or stray dogs/cats in the general area. Not sure if it's from owners letting them roam or if we are a popular dumping spot. Also, the coyote population is borderline out of hand so vigilance as a dog mom is of the utmost importance. "

"You definitely need a personal vehicle of some sort to commute anywhere from here. Traffic along the state highway bordering San Leon can be heavy at times and will be guaranteed to increase with a major upgrade project just beginning. "

"Dogs are loose at times and streets are narrow for walking your dog and cars driving by. But people are friendly and living on the water is amazing "

"I've lived here for 3 years. I love being right on the water, however, because it is an unincorporated part of our county, there can be a tar-paper shack on the lot next door. "

"I am mostly a outside person I have 2 cows chickens ducks geese close to the city but still far enough away shop lean to tractor barn i can do stuff outside but not bother the neighbors nice view for the wife as well"
