5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is trash as well as the teachers. My child hates going to school everyday because of the students as well as the teachers. The staff is late giving out lunches during lunch time, giving them a short amount of time to eat. The teachers act like they don't want to be there and that schools priorities are messed up!!Parent Review1y ago - Fox Chapel Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI has my two oldest children graduate from Clarksburg. Both of them were offended by the culture of the students. Most students were bullies. Some students were so scared that they brought weapons to school to protect themselves. They were shunned from sports because they did not grow up in Clarksburg. I was stationed in Hawaii and my children played Soccer year round. The school is very segregated. My two youngest children attend Damascus. We still live in Clarksburg. I would not recommend Clarksburg Highschool to anyone. The elementary and middle schools are wonderful. Now that Marijuana is legal in Maryland, IT's what I smell when driving through Clarksburg, even going by the High School. I think that the staff and teachers of the school try their best. I believe that it is the parents of the school district I blame. Once these children turn 14-15 their parents stop being parents. Once my children graduate I am moving far away. The children that do well at this school would do well anywhere. Those are the children that are not allowed to go out with friends and experience life. Those children are stuck in their rooms learning for college. Some students don't even attend the physical school. Those are the ones at Montgomery Community College getting an associates degree. The culture of Clarksburg is sickening. These children do not have the social skills to contribute to the workforce.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 11210 Winding Brook Ln.

"I just moved into the neighborhood a week ago. I’m familiar with Germantown, MD. A lot has been built up over the last 20 years. It’s very diverse community regarding all ethnic races. I’ve met some of my neighbors. They seem very nice & pleasant. I like the fact the main trash days are twice per week, and recycle trash is once a week. Groundskeepers maintain the neighborhoods. Area is very quite. You can walk your dog at any time day or night. There’s plenty of lightning around the area as well. "

"I lived in this neighborhood for 3 years. It was a nice place. Everything you need is close by. Parking situation on this street and surrounding streets SUCK. People are not respectful of following the rules from the HOA. Trash blows into the end units back yard and people leave their trash and old household items all over. Overall a great street but I am too picky and these things alone I would not live here."
