Welcome to a Sweet Suite in a Garden House. Only for someone special. It's quirky, "designy" and not your standard condo or apartment. It IS welcoming, comfy, and unusual. I could live there (and have!) It's been called a duplex, an apartment, a studio. It's a fully furnished private "Suite" located at one end of a private house with its own entrance. So call it what you will! Come see (only if you're seriously interested!) We'll walk through the garden around back to the left side of the house up the steps to your covered deck,. Come iin through the private entrance into the sitting room. On our right is the "kitchenette" with fridge and sink alcove, microwave, cook tops or air fryer (let's decide), toaster oven.There is no oven. But there's a full-size fridge, kitchen sink, etc. The cozy sitting room also features a smart TV, an old farmhouse table, chairs and couch. (it's a SITTING ROOM!) Your private bedroom has a queen-size comfy bed. Don't forget to see the "Beatles dresser" - collaged with Beatles collectable trading cards. You've got a full bath and shower. Have your morning coffee out on the covered porch (that back deck,) looking out on the swing and garden. Steps away from the deck is the lap pool for your use. I live adjacent to your suite at the other end of the house. I'm here to help, but your privacy is key to me. There's off street parking for one car.We're off Tamiami trail in a neighborhood that's a short drive to Venice beaches, Osprey, Englewood, North Port and Sarasota.. You can walk or bike to the Intracoastal Venetian Waterway Trail. Single preferred. Regrettably pets (even sweet small ones) and cigarette smoking are not permitted.. Moderate alcohol only. More to take into consideration: The thermostat and washer/dryer are in my end of the house. I will keep the thermostat adjusted to your liking and we can plan laundry schedule to suit you.Also Venice is known to have stinky Sulfur water that's being treated here. So: IF you're my special tenant, come visit and check it out. I look forward to meeting you and showing you the Sweet Suite!

All utilities included with wi-fi, smart streaming Roku tv provided.

No pets (even sweet ones!) no smoking cigarettes on property. There's off-street parking for one car.

    "The EastGate neighborhood is a hidden gem. There are a number of nice, older homes on good-sized lots, with many being upgraded with every new owner or already renovated. There are also many future opportunities as you look around. It's a perfect location between historic downtown Venice on the Island, and east to I-75 and the new areas being built out there. There's a Publix a block over and Venice Avenue isn't as busy as Route 41. Even with all the growth and new development, this part of Venice remains low-key and very pleasant. The homes here are a good value for the money and worth either buying and renovating, or buying an upgraded one. One of the best areas in the city that is not on the island, and my family has been here since the early 90s."

    "A piece of paradise. Everything is in walking and biking distance. The island has everything from parks, local restaurants, beaches, the jetty, festivals, a library, an art center, a local museum, city basketball, tennis, pickleball, and shuffleboard courts, a children's splash pad, churches, a hospital, and a grocery store. It also has and elementary, middle, and high school where kids can bike to school. At the downtown gazebo there are public concerts and there are often downtown festivals. Every Saturday there's a farmer's market in front of the firehouse. It's golf cart and bike friendly with the famous legacy trail bike trail. You can visit the public beaches, fish from the city pier or jetty, or venture out for an isolated stroll along Casperson's beach, known as the shark's tooth capital of the world. Botique shops, ice cream shops, and local restraunts provide plenty to do year round. Perfect for families or retires. "
